Hi Kerry, came to you from "a hen's place" and have thoroughly enjoyed reading of your traditions...
Not thought of having our own Advent wreath... (relying on the one in church!) maybe next year! We do however light candles each night and sing a candle song, maybe get the children to read a short passage from the Bible and I read one of the 24 little books that make up the nativity story in our advent bool calendar.
The children have been a lot more contemplative this year (as have my husband and I), as I refuse to give in to the frenzy and pandemonium of the commercial Christmas build up.
Nice to "meet" you and look forward to reading more about your Advent experiences.
